Acta Physica Polonica B is an abstracted, refereed journal published by the Jagiellonian University, Kraków, Poland, in cooperation with the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences.

Since 1999 all current and past articles are freely available on an Open Access basis and under the conditions
of Creative Common License, CC-BY 4.0. Starting from January 1, 2014 we are partially funded by SCOAP3.

To prevent plagiarism we use the Crossref Similarity Check service.

Acta Physica Polonica B covers the following areas of physics:

May 2023 • old papers of APP

We have collected all issues of Acta Physica Polonica published since 1932 until 1969. We hope that the availability of these archival volumes will be of interest to our readers and researchers of the history of physics.

March 2022 • announcement concerning Russian invasion on Ukraine

In protest against the invasion of Russia (with the support of Belarus) on an independent and sovereign territory and the people of Ukraine, on March 1, 2022 Poland suspended scientific collaboration with the Russian Federation. Following the decision of the Rector of the Jagiellonian University, which suspends cooperation with Russian universities and research centers, Acta Physica Polonica B stops publishing articles by authors with affiliation to institutions from the Russian Federation and also from the Republic of Belarus.
